DryFiX Bitumer 100 is a black-colored waterproofing material designed to protect buildings against water and moisture. Once dry, it transforms into a seamless, rubber-like flexible armor. It has a practical structure that can be easily applied with a brush or roller by both professional masters and homeowners who want to do their own waterproofing.

• Resistant to Extreme Conditions: It does not lose its properties from freezing cold (-20°C) to scorching heat (+80°C); it does not melt, sag, or crack from freezing.
• Flexible and Crack Bridging: Thanks to its high flexibility, it perfectly adapts to the expansion movements of the building. It acts as a bridge over small cracks that may form on the surface, allowing no water leaks.
• Very Strong Adhesion: It grips the surface tightly. It easily bonds even to dry or slightly damp surfaces and does not blister or peel off later.

Usage and Application Areas

It can be safely used wherever there is a water leak or moisture problem:

• Retaining walls, foundations, floors, and exterior basement walls of buildings.

• Areas in contact with leaks and underground water.
• Preventing underground concrete surfaces from rotting (corrosion) caused by water.

Step-by-Step Easy Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation:

The application area must be clean and free from dust, dirt, and oil. The surface can be dry or slightly damp, but there must be absolutely no water puddles. Ensure there are adequate water drains on the surface so water can flow away easily.

2. Primer Application (First Step):

To ensure the product bonds fully to the surface, you must first create a primer layer. Take some DryFiX Bitumer 100 from the bucket and thin it by mixing it with clean water at a 1:1 ratio (equal parts). Apply this watery primer to the surface with a brush or roller and wait for it to dry completely.

3. Main Application (Without Adding Water):

• Once the primer is dry, apply the remaining DryFiX Bitumer 100 from the bucket directly to the surface without adding any water (undiluted).
• The application must be done in 2 coats. After applying the first coat, wait an average of 4 to 5 hours for it to dry completely.
• Important Tip: When applying the second coat, move your brush in the exact opposite direction (perpendicular/crosshatch) to the first coat. This ensures no gaps are left behind.
• Note: In areas exposed to the sun and with a high risk of cracking, such as roofs and terraces, laying a waterproofing mesh between the first and second coats will significantly extend the life of your insulation.
