Polyurethane Injection DF PUR INJECTION 2K
DryFiX PUR Injektion 2K (Polyurethane Injection System)
Product Description and Working Principle
DryFiX PUR Injektion 2K is an advanced waterproofing solution that instantly stops active water leaks in concrete structures by reaching the source of the water. In situations where external intervention is impossible (such as an underground basement wall), it is applied from the inside out using special high-pressure injection machines.
Injected through small holes drilled into the wall, this special liquid (polyurethane resin) penetrates down to the finest capillary veins inside the concrete. The moment it comes into contact with water deep inside the crack, it reacts extremely fast, foams, and expands its volume many times over. It completely blocks all paths, voids, and cracks where water enters the structure, cutting off the water flow instantly. It is the most effective and permanent method for solving water-related problems without breaking or demolishing structures.
Advantages of the Product
- Fast and Smart Reaction with Water: It reacts instantly according to the amount of water inside, stopping the leak in seconds.
- Maximum Adhesion to All Surfaces: The resin bonds perfectly to both wet surfaces where water is actively flowing and completely dry concrete textures.
- Permanent and Flexible Protective Shield: It does not harden and become brittle after drying. It turns into a flexible, non-shrinking, and completely water-repellent rubber foam. Even if the building settles or expands over time, this flexible structure does not tear and continues its waterproofing duty.
- Eco-Friendly and Safe Content: It contains no harmful solvents. Because of this, it does not emit disturbing, foul odors when applied in enclosed spaces like basements or parking garages. It does not harm the environment or groundwater.
- Superior Durability: It maintains its waterproofing properties even if the water in the applied area decreases or completely dries up. It is resistant to chemical solutions underground and cannot be broken down or decomposed by microorganisms.
Areas Offering Definitive Solutions
It is safely used in all problematic areas where water leaks, sweats, or gushes out under pressure from within the concrete:
- Foundations, basements, and elevator shafts with a constant risk of flooding.
- Underground retaining walls exposed to high water pressure where external excavation is impossible.
- Hidden voids, capillary cracks, and expansion joints within the reinforced concrete structure.
- Underground parking garages, underpasses, subway tunnels, and dams.
- Sewer connections, manholes, and wastewater treatment plants.

| Storage Conditions | Must be stored in dry environments protected from frost and extreme heat, at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C. |
| Important Note | The material in the bucket, once opened and exposed to air, must be consumed quickly without waiting so it does not self-react and cure. |
Application Features and Mixing Logic
- The foaming and expansion speed of the product when it meets water after being pumped into the wall is under the master's control with the accelerator liquid called CATALYST 10 (Component B).
- The expansion time depends directly on the ambient temperature, the flow rate of the water inside, and the amount of accelerator added.
- How to Adjust? If there is highly pressurized water coming from the wall, the accelerator ratio is increased up to 10% so the mixture foams instantly and cuts off the water. However, if the leak is slow and the product needs to penetrate deeper into the concrete, the accelerator ratio is kept around 2% to prolong the foaming time.
- Behavior in a Dry Environment: If the product does not find water inside the crack, it will not foam and expand its volume. However, it will still form a solid, flexible, and waterproof mass inside, permanently sealing that crack.
Warnings and Safe Usage Recommendations
- Work Safety: Because the product is pumped into the wall with high-pressure injection machines, fully protective safety goggles and durable gloves must absolutely be worn during application against the risk of kickback or splashing.
- First Aid: In case of contact with the skin or eyes, the affected area must be washed immediately with plenty of clean water for minutes, and if necessary, the nearest healthcare facility should be consulted.
- Environmental Rules: Care must be taken to continuously ventilate enclosed working areas with fresh air. No fires should be lit, flammable/combustible materials should not be kept nearby, and smoking is strictly prohibited in the application area.
- Materials must be stored in safe areas completely out of the reach of children and pets.
