Step-by-Step Application Guide

  1. Surface Preparation: For a flawless waterproofing application, the surface must be completely cleared of oil, grease, paraffin, mold-release chemicals, and fuel residues. Loose particles, cement laitance, sawdust, and old membrane remnants must be entirely removed; if possible, a high-pressure water washer should be used to achieve the optimal clean surface.
  2. Priming Phase: Following surface preparation, the use of DryFiX DFC-100 Epoxy Primer is strongly recommended to maximize the system's grip on the floor.
  3. Preparing the Mixture: Components A and B must be mixed using a low-speed mixer for a minimum of 2-3 minutes until a completely homogeneous consistency is achieved. At an ambient temperature of +20°C, the pot life (working time) of this mixture is 20-30 minutes. Note that this duration may shorten or extend depending on seasonal temperature variations.
  4. Surface Application: Pour the prepared mixture onto the pre-primed substrate and spread it evenly across the entire area using a roller or brush. It must be applied in a minimum of two coats on both vertical and horizontal surfaces. After applying the first coat, you must wait at least 8 hours, and a maximum of 24 hours, before proceeding with the second coat.
