Epoksi Astar DFC-100
Application Areas
DryFiX DFC 100 Epoxy Primer is designed for industrial facilities to act as a protective barrier for concrete surfaces, cementitious mortars, and screeds. It prevents the impact of solvents on plastered walls before applying solvent-based paints. It serves as a transitional primer for re-coating epoxy or polyurethane floors, and as a primer before polyurea applications. It is also effective for sealing unfinished, paint-free wood surfaces that do not require UV resistance. In concrete repairs, it functions as a resin when mixed with calcite to prepare putty.

Application Instructions
- Surface Preparation: Remove all dust, debris, loose particles, and paint residues. Avoid applying to damp surfaces. For moisture levels above 10%, use DFC-108 Moist Surface Primer.
- Repairs: Apply primer before epoxy putty if repairs are needed.
- Mixing: Mix components A and B for 3–4 minutes until homogeneous. Apply evenly over the surface using a trowel, roller, or squeegee.
- Attention: Use the mixed product within 10 minutes to prevent it from hardening. To extend working time, transfer to a wider container.
- Fillers: If adding quartz, silica, or calcite, mix after components A and B are blended.
- Application Conditions: Concrete must have at least 25 N/mm² compressive strength and 1.5 N/mm² tensile strength. For highly absorbent surfaces, apply multiple coats. Avoid application below 10°C or in high humidity.
