Epoksi Astar DFC-100
Two-component, transparent epoxy resin primer used before floor systems to enhance mechanical resistance and ensure superior adhesion on concrete surfaces.

Application Areas

DryFiX DFC 100 Epoxy Primer is designed for industrial facilities to act as a protective barrier for concrete surfaces, cementitious mortars, and screeds. It prevents the impact of solvents on plastered walls before applying solvent-based paints. It serves as a transitional primer for re-coating epoxy or polyurethane floors, and as a primer before polyurea applications. It is also effective for sealing unfinished, paint-free wood surfaces that do not require UV resistance. In concrete repairs, it functions as a resin when mixed with calcite to prepare putty.

Application Instructions

  1. Surface Preparation: Remove all dust, debris, loose particles, and paint residues. Avoid applying to damp surfaces. For moisture levels above 10%, use DFC-108 Moist Surface Primer.
  2. Repairs: Apply primer before epoxy putty if repairs are needed.
  3. Mixing: Mix components A and B for 3–4 minutes until homogeneous. Apply evenly over the surface using a trowel, roller, or squeegee.
  4. Attention: Use the mixed product within 10 minutes to prevent it from hardening. To extend working time, transfer to a wider container.
  5. Fillers: If adding quartz, silica, or calcite, mix after components A and B are blended.
  6. Application Conditions: Concrete must have at least 25 N/mm² compressive strength and 1.5 N/mm² tensile strength. For highly absorbent surfaces, apply multiple coats. Avoid application below 10°C or in high humidity.

Consumption
