Aliphatic Polyurethane Paint DF PUR – 150
DFPUR 150 (UV Resistant Aliphatic Polyurethane Topcoat)
A two-component, aliphatic, completely non-yellowing and non-chalking protective topcoat armor applied over epoxy, polyurethane, and polyurea floor coatings in outdoor areas exposed to the sun's destructive UV rays. It prevents the underlying structural layers from baking in the sun, maximizing their mechanical and chemical lifespan.
Structural Solutions for Direct Application
- Outdoor Floor Coatings: As a thin protective paint over epoxy-primed floors in all outdoor areas requiring UV resistance.
- System Protective Topcoat: To prevent color fading of standard epoxy and polyurethane/polyurea coatings that lack sunlight resistance, fixing their aesthetics with a semi-matte finish.

Site Application Instructions and Strict Rules
1. Surface Preparation & Concrete Conditions:
The concrete substrate must absolutely be clean, dry, and free of oil and dust. The concrete must have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm² and a pull-off strength of at least 1.5 N/mm². Highly absorbent surfaces must be primed with an epoxy primer until saturated. If there is negative-side pressurized water or moisture coming from the ground, the coating may blister even after curing; do not apply on such floors.
Critical Adhesion Warning: If more than 24 hours have passed since the application of the underlying epoxy primer or intermediate coat, the surface MUST be roughened (sanded) with a grinding machine to ensure mechanical adhesion.
2. Preparing the Mixture:
Combine components A and B strictly adhering to the 9:1 ratio. Mix for at least 3-4 minutes using a low-speed electric mixer until a fully homogeneous color is achieved. The pot life is 1 hour at 25°C; only prepare as much material as you can apply within this timeframe. If thinning is necessary, strictly use DFPUR 355 Polyurethane Thinner.
3. Application Process & Climate Conditions:
Can be applied with a brush, roller, or airless spray gun. Halt the application if the ambient temperature drops below +5°C or if relative humidity exceeds 70%. In extremely hot site conditions above +30°C, the epoxy will cure too quickly; in such cases, the DFPUR-200 version, which has a longer drying time, should be preferred.
Crucial Site Warning: When applying the DFPUR-150 topcoat over an epoxy or polyurethane floor, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT wear spiked shoes. The holes created by the spikes will penetrate the topcoat and completely ruin the waterproofing and aesthetics of the finish.
OHS and Safety Instructions
