Polyurethane Thinner DFPUR – 355
DFPUR 355 (Pure Polyurethane Thinner & Equipment Cleaner)
A high-solvency, pure thinner designed to bring polyurethane and epoxy-based industrial paints, floor coatings, and primers to the ideal viscosity under demanding site conditions without disrupting their chemical structure. It contains no moisture or cheap additives that dull the paint; it 100% preserves the system's original reaction and glossy finish.
The Golden Rule of the Site: When to Thin, When to Clean?
- For Solvent-Based Systems (As a Thinner): Safely used to thin resin-based, solvent-borne polyurethane and epoxy paints at the ratios specified in the product's Technical Data Sheet (TDS) (typically 5% - 10%). It ensures flawless spreading without leaving roller or spray gun marks.
- For Solvent-Free Systems (Strictly as a Cleaner): ABSOLUTELY DO NOT add this as a thinner into "solvent-free" systems containing 100% solid matter! Doing so will cut the paint and prevent it from curing. In such systems, it is strictly used as an outstanding heavy-duty solvent for cleaning airless spray guns, mixer blades, rollers, and brushes.

Application and Equipment Cleaning Instructions
1. Paint Thinning Process (Only for Solvent-Based Systems):
After components A and B of the polyurethane or epoxy paint are homogeneously mixed together, DFPUR 355 is slowly added to the mixture. The amount added must never exceed the ratio written on the specific product's label based on the paint type and application method (roller or spray gun). Adding excess thinner will weaken the paint's hiding power and mechanical resistance.
2. Cleaning Site Equipment:
Immediately after the paint or primer application is finished (and strictly before the resin hardens), all used airless spray guns, hoses, steel trowels, mixer blades, and brushes must be washed out with DFPUR 355. The thinner dissolves and flushes out the residual resin inside the equipment, definitively preventing blockages and breakdowns for the next application.
OHS, Fire, and Safety Instructions (Critical Warning)
Since the flash point is 17°C, this product is HIGHLY FLAMMABLE and COMBUSTIBLE.
- Site Environment: Smoking, welding, spark-producing tools, and heat sources are strictly prohibited in the application and mixing areas. Continuous and powerful ventilation must be ensured in enclosed spaces.
- Personal Protection: To avoid inhaling solvent vapors, wear a carbon-filtered respirator, chemical-resistant gloves, and fully enclosed safety goggles. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for several minutes and seek medical help. The product must be stored in locked areas out of the reach of children.
