DFR 2000 (TIX) Epoxy Putty
DFR 2000 TIX (Thixotropic Epoxy Repair and Bonding Putty)
A solvent-free, structural repair, bonding, and anchoring mortar that defies gravity in vertical and overhead applications with absolutely no sagging or slumping. Thanks to its 100% solid content and solvent-free formula, it never loses volume during curing (zero shrinkage). It permanently welds concrete to steel and stone to marble, creating an impenetrable barrier against water, gas, heavy chemicals, and mechanical wear.
Structural Solutions for Heavy-Duty Projects
- Expansion Joint Sealing: High-adhesion bonding of dilatation tapes to concrete surfaces, ensuring absolute impermeability.
- Heavy Structural Repairs: Repairing breakages in load-bearing elements such as columns, beams, and shear walls, as well as securely mounting all types of concrete, stone, and marble elements.
- Challenging Surface Mounting: Permanently fixing materials like tiles, ceramics, and granite onto highly glossy and extremely hard-to-bond surfaces.

Site Application Instructions (Critical Steps)
1. Surface Preparation (Crucial for Adhesion):
The substrate must be sound and clean enough for the epoxy to claw into. Dust, weak particles, cement laitance, oil, and grease must be completely removed. The concrete substrate must have a minimum compressive strength of 25 N/mm² and a pull-off strength of at least 1.5 N/mm². Absolutely do not thin the product with thinner or similar solvents. The surface must be bone dry.
2. Preparing the Mixture (Mind the Pot Life):
This is a two-component product. Only mix an amount you can consume within the pot life; any expired mixture will harden in the bucket and become useless. Add Component B to Component A and mix continuously for 2-3 minutes using a low-speed electric mixer (300 rpm) until a completely homogeneous, solid-colored paste is achieved. Do not add water or any foreign substances.
3. Weather Conditions and Application:
Ambient and surface temperatures must absolutely not be below +5°C. Warning: In extremely hot weather, the epoxy will chemically react and harden very quickly; therefore, mix only small, immediately consumable portions rather than large batches.
OHS and Safety Instructions
This product is strictly for professional use. Although solvent-free, it undergoes a strong chemical reaction.
- Personal Protection: Always wear rubber gloves and fully enclosed safety goggles during mixing and application. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for several minutes and seek immediate medical attention.
- Working Environment: No smoking in the application area. Keep away from flammable materials and sparks. The workspace must be continuously ventilated.
- For comprehensive details, review the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and keep the material strictly out of reach of children.
