Product Features

Odorless and solvent-free, this eco-friendly formula protects both your health and the environment. It adheres perfectly to challenging surfaces like tiles without needing a primer, delivering a stunning high-gloss finish. Compatible with stencils for unique interior designs, it offers superior resistance to water, steam, and cleaning chemicals. With high UV resistance, it withstands outdoor conditions without fading or degrading.

Manufactured in full compliance with EN 71-3 standards, this formula prioritizes human health and environmental safety. It is free from heavy metals and harmful components, making it perfectly safe for use in your living spaces.

For flat surfaces such as floors and countertops exposed to impacts, friction, and frequent chemical cleaning, we recommend applying Dryfix Glassy 100 Liquid Glass after painting. This layer ensures your finish maintains its brand-new look and durability for years to come.

Application Instruction

Before applying DryFIX Tile Paint, all surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned of oil, dirt, dust, and rust to ensure they are completely dry. Deep cleaning is critical to achieving maximum adhesion and long-lasting durability for your finish.

For optimal results, add Component B into Component A and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. The prepared mixture has a pot life of approximately 1-1.5 hours. You can apply it using a roller, brush, or airless sprayer. Ensure ambient temperatures are between 15-35°C, with humidity below 80%. A two-coat application is recommended for the best durability and finish.

Choosing the right roller is essential for a high-quality finish. For Odorless Tile Paint, velvet or mohair rollers are ideal for achieving a smooth texture. For professional-grade Solvent-Based Tile Paint, synthetic epoxy rollers must be used to withstand the chemical composition and ensure even distribution.

Invisible residues from soap, shampoo, or detergents in shower stalls can prevent paint adhesion and lead to peeling. To ensure a lasting bond, clean these areas thoroughly with Dryfix Anti-Slip Solution and lightly sand the surface to create the perfect grip for the paint. Always rinse the area with plenty of water after the procedure to remove any remaining chemical solution.

To maintain application quality, wait at least 24 hours before painting to ensure grout lines are completely dry. Paint should never be applied over damp grout, as moisture can compromise the paint's performance and adhesion.

How to Apply DryFIX Tile Paint?

To achieve a durable, high-performance, and stylish finish, please follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Professional Surface Preparation & Cleaning

The longevity of the paint depends heavily on proper preparation.

Remove all oil, grease, rust, lime, and chemical residues (soap, detergent) until the surface is spotless and dry.

In showers, use DryFix Anti-Slip Solution to eliminate invisible soap films, followed by light sanding for better grip.

After rinsing with plenty of water, allow the surface to dry completely; wait at least 24 hours to ensure the grout lines are moisture-free.

Step 2: Mixing Procedure and Pot-Life

DryFix Tile Paint features a high-performance two-component system.

Pour the entire contents of Component B into Component A.

Mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer until a completely homogeneous consistency is achieved.

The mixture has a pot-life of 1–1.5 hours; ensure the application is finished within this timeframe before the product begins to set.

Step 3: Correct Equipment Selection & Techniques

Choosing the right tools is essential for a professional finish.

For Odorless Tile Paint, velvet or mohair rollers are recommended for a smooth texture.

For Solvent-Based Tile Paint, synthetic epoxy rollers should be used to withstand the chemical formula.

Both product types can be applied using a brush, roller, or airless sprayer depending on your preference.

Step 4: Ideal Application & Ambient Conditions

To ensure perfect adhesion, ambient conditions must be optimized.

The air temperature should be between 15–35°C, with a minimum surface temperature of 5°C.

Humidity must remain below 80%; failing to meet these criteria can disrupt the film-forming process and lead to drying or bonding failures.

Step 5: Application Phases & Curing Process

Apply the prepared paint in a thin, even layer across the surface.

For superior durability and a uniform finish, a two-coat application is recommended.

Wait at least 4–6 hours between coats, depending on ambient conditions.

The surface will fully cure within 48–72 hours; it is vital to keep the area completely dry and avoid any contact with water during this period.

Step 6: Critical Warnings & Success Factors

Never apply paint on damp grout or incompletely dried surfaces, as moisture will compromise the finish.

Once mixed, the product undergoes a chemical reaction and cannot be stored for the next day; it must be used within the pot-life.

Ensure proper ventilation in the application area.

Remember, the ultimate performance of the paint relies entirely on proper surface preparation—never skip this stage.
