DryFiX FULL FLEX 2K UV is a two-component, highly elastic waterproofing material specially developed for the most demanding areas of buildings, such as roofs, open terraces, and swimming pools. It is fully resistant to the scorching rays of the sun (UV).

When exposed to the sun, ordinary waterproofing materials eventually scorch, harden, and crack over time. That is why you usually have to cover them with tiles or concrete screed. However, thanks to its rubber-like fully elastic structure, FULL FLEX 2K UV is perfectly suitable to be left exposed. You can leave it directly under the sun, rain, and snow without having to cover it with anything. It withstands light foot traffic; you can comfortably walk on your terrace. It creates a seamless, joint-free, and untearable waterproofing armor.

Step-by-Step Flawless Application Guide

1. Preparing the Mixture:

The product has two components (Powder and Liquid). First, pour the 10 kg liquid into a clean mixing bucket. Then, while mixing slowly with a mixer, gradually pour the 20 kg powder component into the liquid. Mix for about 2-3 minutes until it reaches a homogeneous (smooth) consistency with no lumps.

Important: After preparing the mixture, let it rest for 2 minutes so the chemicals can fully react, and then briefly mix it again right before you start applying.

2. Application to the Surface:

Apply the mixture you prepared to the entire surface using a brush or roller, making sure it absorbs well. You must apply it in at least 2 coats. After applying the first coat, wait at least 6 hours before applying the second coat. When applying the second coat, move the brush in the exact opposite (crosswise) direction to the first coat. This "cross-coat" logic ensures that not even a pinhole-sized gap is left.

Very Important Warnings and Golden Rules

• Absolutely DO NOT Add Water: This is the biggest rule of this product! Only its own special liquid must be used for the mixture. Do not add even a single drop of normal water or any foreign substance into the bucket; otherwise, the product will be ruined.
• Pay Attention to Weather Conditions: For the first 3 days after application, protect the surface from frost, heavy rain, and harsh winds.
• Corners and Joints: High-movement wall-floor junction points, such as bathroom or terrace corners, must absolutely be supported with waterproofing mesh or chamfer tapes.
• Mechanical Impact Risk: If very heavy items will be dragged on your terrace or if it will see heavy use, it is recommended to lay a protective ceramic tile over the waterproofing. Wait 3 days after the application before laying ceramics.
• Cleaning: Wash the brushes and tools you used with water immediately after the application is finished, before they dry. Once dry, it is very difficult to clean.
