DryFiX MS Polymer 100 Hybrid Waterproofing Coating

Next-Generation Hybrid Technology for a Seamless, Elastic Water Shield on Any Surface, in All Climates

DryFiX MS Polymer 100 pushes the boundaries of traditional waterproofing products. Formulated with 100% hybrid polymer technology, it is a next-generation waterproofing armor that delivers superior adhesion and extreme elasticity. Combining the absolute best traits of polyurethane and silicone chemistries, this innovative coating never loses its elasticity against thermal expansion shocks caused by freezing cold or scorching hot climates. By creating a monolithic, seamless (joint-free) barrier on the surface, it reduces the risk of water leakage to absolute zero at the cellular level.

Boasting the industry's widest adhesion spectrum—from concrete to metal, wood to aerated concrete (Ytong)—MS Polymer 100 performs flawlessly, especially on trapezoidal sheet metal roofs, wet areas (bathrooms, WCs, kitchens), building exteriors, and foundation retaining walls. Available in standard transparent and white colors, with the option for custom project-based tinting, it provides a definitive and permanent insulation solution without compromising the architectural aesthetics of the applied surface.

Professional Application Instructions and Site Procedures

1. Substrate Condition and Surface Preparation

For the hybrid polymer to bond to the surface at a molecular level, the substrate preparation must be flawless.

  • The application surfaces (terraces, sheet metal, brick, metal, etc.) must be completely cleared of all oil, dirt, dust, and old insulation material residues using mechanical or chemical methods.
  • Any capillary or deep cracks on the surface must be repaired with a suitable repair mortar. During the main application, these repaired crack lines must be extra-reinforced using MS Polymer and a fiberglass reinforcement mesh.

2. Self-Generating Adhesion: Primer Application

  • Thanks to its advanced technology, DryFiX MS Polymer 100 has the unique ability to act as its own primer.
  • The product is thinned with clean water at a 1:1 ratio (1 part product / 1 part water) and applied as a single primer coat using a brush or roller, ensuring the surface is fully saturated.
  • After the primer application, it must be left to dry for at least 1 hour to allow the polymeric bonds to establish.

3. Main Waterproofing Layers and Mesh Reinforcement

  • Once the primer has dried, open the unthinned (pure) DryFiX MS Polymer 100 and apply it directly to the surface.
  • The application must be carried out in two coats. The waiting time between coats is an average of 2 hours. The second coat should be applied (preferably in a cross-hatch direction) only after ensuring the first coat is completely dry.
  • Site Manager's Note (Critical): On terraces subjected to pedestrian traffic, in blind spots prone to water ponding, and in large-scale applications, an alkali-resistant waterproofing mesh (reinforcement) must absolutely be embedded between the first and second coats to maximize the system's tensile and tear strength.

4. Critical Weather Conditions and Storage

  • The temperature of the site environment and the application surface must be between +5°C and +30°C. Application must strictly be avoided in weather carrying a risk of frost or under extreme, scorching sunlight.
  • Product buckets (18 kg PE) must be stored in dry, cool storage areas, away from direct sunlight, in their original unopened packaging.
