Pure Polyurea POLIUREA PR
POLYUREA PR Two-Component Pure Polyurea
DryFiX Pure Aromatic Polyurea: High-Performance Waterproofing and Coating Membrane
Based on pure aromatic polyurea, this is a two-component, 100% solid, ultra-fast curing, high-tech waterproofing membrane. Thanks to its advanced formula, this system can be applied with special proportioning spray machines in all weather conditions, creating a continuous, seamless, and long-lasting protective shield for your projects.
Advantages of the System
- Ultra-Fast Curing: Can be opened to traffic minutes after application, saving significant time.
- Eco-Friendly Structure: Completely solvent-free and permeable to water vapor.
- Seamless and Jointless Insulation: Applied monolithically, it entirely eliminates risky junction points. It can be safely used on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.
- Maximum Elasticity: Retains its high flexibility even at low temperatures and exhibits superior crack-bridging performance.
- Excellent Mechanical Resistance: Exceptionally high elongation, tensile, tear, and abrasion resistance.
- High Adhesion: Offers excellent bonding strength even on difficult and demanding surfaces.
- Chemical Resistance: Highly resistant to hydrolysis and numerous industrial chemicals.
Main Application Areas
- Roofs, terraces, and garden terraces (including green roofs).
- Trapezoidal and sandwich panel roof systems.
- Foundation and retaining wall waterproofing.
- Reinforced concrete and sheet metal surfaces.
- Tunnels, water channels, swimming pools, and water tanks.
- Waste collection tanks.
- Parking lot floor coatings and waterproofing.
Application Properties and Surface Preparation
Surface Preparation
For perfect adhesion, the application surface must be clean, dry, sound, and load-bearing. Any residues that reduce adhesion, such as dust, oil, grease, and paint, must be completely removed; the surface temperature must be a minimum of +10 °C. Defects on the floor such as pits, breaks, pores, and segregation must be repaired prior to application.
Where necessary, mechanical abrasion processes like shot blasting, milling, or grinding should be performed, and all surfaces must be cleared of dust using industrial vacuum equipment. Surface adhesion must be a minimum of 1.5 N/mm², and the moisture content must be below 4%. To prevent condensation risks, the floor temperature must be at least +3 °C above the calculated dew point. An appropriate primer suitable for the surface must be used.
Machine Settings and Mixture Preparation
Preparation of Components: Before application, it is important that the ambient temperature of the components in the barrels is between 25-30 °C. Component B (amine resin) must be mixed in the barrel for a minimum of 30 minutes until a homogeneous color is achieved, and this mixing process must continue during the application. The product must never be diluted.
Spray Machine Settings: The system is applied using special plural-component proportioning machines that generate high pressure and temperature.
- Component A (MDI Prepolymer) Heater Temp: 70-71 °C
- Component B (Amine Resin) Heater Temp: 67-68 °C
- Hose Temperature: 67-68 °C
- Machine Pressure: 140-180 bar
Application Steps
After all preparations are complete, the polyurea is sprayed onto the surface in at least 2 coats to achieve a minimum thickness of 2 mm. Thickness should be checked regularly, and repairs of thin areas must be completed within 5 hours following the application. Newly coated surfaces must be protected from mechanical stress, water, dew, dust, and solvents for at least 24 hours.
Consumption, Packaging, and Storage
Consumption: Approximately 1.0 - 1.1 kg/m² of product should be used for 1 mm thickness.

Important Application Notes and Safety Warnings
- Professional Use: This product must only be applied by experienced professionals using two-component, high-pressure machines capable of heating and proportioning. Mixing ratio equipment must operate with a maximum tolerance of ±2%, and pressure gauges must be constantly monitored.
- Environmental Factors: Do not apply on wet or frozen surfaces. Necessary insulation precautions must be taken in advance in areas where negative water or water vapor pressure is observed.
- Risk Areas: Do not apply near operating air conditioning units. Volatile bituminous materials may cause staining on the coating.
- Occupational Safety: Flammable and combustible materials must be kept away from the application area, smoking is prohibited, and the area must be continuously ventilated. Appropriate protective equipment such as masks, safety goggles, and gloves must be used. In case of eye contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and consult the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). Keep out of reach of children.
