PRATİK Cement Based Machine Plaster
Advantages
DRYFIX PRATİK plaster material offers an exceptionally fast and easy application, whether applied manually or using machinery. It provides high adhesion to the surface, ensuring that the plaster firmly attaches without sagging or falling off, even on vertical surfaces. Thanks to its easy spreadability, it achieves a smooth, uniform finish, preparing the surface perfectly for subsequent painting or coating processes. The material is highly resistant to pressure, cracking, and wear, ensuring long-term durability. It is also highly resistant to outdoor weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, and humidity changes. By enabling quick integration with freshly poured concrete, it saves labor and reduces construction time, providing efficiency in both new constructions and renovation projects.
Areas of Application
DRYFIX PRATİK is suitable for all cement-based surfaces. It is ideal for façades made of brick, aerated concrete (gas concrete), pumice blocks, and other masonry elements. The material can be used both indoors and outdoors, providing an aesthetic, durable, and uniform plaster finish. It is appropriate for residential buildings, industrial facilities, workshops, commercial spaces, parking areas, and public structures. Moreover, it can be safely used in both new construction and restoration projects, making it a versatile choice for professional builders and contractors.
Application Features
The product should be gradually mixed with 4.5–5.0 liters of clean water per 25 kg bag, using a mixer at low speed. Mix thoroughly for 2–3 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. Let the mixture rest for 5–10 minutes depending on the ambient conditions, then remix for 1–2 minutes before application.
For manual application, spread evenly with a trowel or spatula. For machine application, adjust the water ratio and spray evenly onto the surface. DRYFIX PRATİK fills cracks and voids, creating a smooth, uniform surface that serves as an ideal base for finishing materials. Single-layer thickness is approximately 1 cm, though a second layer can be applied after full curing of the first layer.
Warnings and Recommendations
- Do not apply on metal surfaces; only cement-based, porous surfaces are suitable.
- Do not add foreign materials to the mixture; this may negatively affect performance.
- The surface must be free from dust, dirt, and grease.
- Avoid application in humid, rainy, windy, or excessively hot conditions.
- Do not apply on frozen, thawing, or surfaces at risk of rain or frost within 24 hours.
- Avoid applying directly on wood, timber, or metal.
- Protect freshly applied surfaces from frost, sun, and strong winds for 24 hours.
- Recommended ambient temperature for application: +5 °C to +35 °C.
Storage
The product is supplied in 25 kg Kraft bags and is grey in color. If stored unopened in dry conditions, the shelf life is 12 months from the production date. Once opened, reseal the bag tightly. Keep away from frost and direct sunlight. Proper storage ensures maximum longevity of the material.
Consumption
Recommended consumption for 1 cm thickness is 14–16 kg/m², depending on surface roughness and environmental conditions.
