Product Description

Bitüm Primer Prim A is a solvent-free, eco-friendly primer suitable for use in enclosed areas. It can be applied on dry or damp surfaces and forms a continuous waterproof and moisture-proof layer after drying. It is used as a primer under bitumen coatings, as a waterproofing layer, and as an additive to cement-based mortars to improve impermeability and adhesion.

Application Instructions

1. Clean the surface thoroughly; remove dust, dirt, rust, and oil
2. Round off sharp edges and corners
3. Ensure surface smoothness, dryness, and cleanliness; check slope where required
4. Apply PRIM-A at 150–200 g/m² with brush or spray gun
5. If necessary, dilute with 20% water
6. Drying time depends on weather conditions, approximately 4–5 hours
7. For two-coat applications, apply the second coat only after the first coat is fully dry
8. Membrane installation should start only after the primer has completely dried

Mixing Instructions

• Slowly add powder component to liquid component
• Mix at 400–600 rpm using a medium-speed mixer until homogeneous
• Use prepared mixture within 1–2 hours

Consumption

• Single coat: 150–200 g/m²

Storage and Shelf Life

• Store in original packaging in a dry, cool place
• Shelf life: 24 months if unopened
