1. Safety and Preparation:

The material heats up significantly when it reacts with water. Therefore, before starting the application, you must absolutely wear thick and durable protective gloves. Do not touch it with bare hands under any circumstances.

2. Stopping the Leak (The Shock Moment):

Take some DryFiX SHOCK powder from the bucket into your palm (or mix it with a tiny amount of water to make a dough according to instructions) and press it directly into the crack/hole where the water is gushing out. Apply strong pressure with the palm of your hand over the hole without moving it for 5-10 seconds.

3. Heating and Hardening:

While applying pressure, you will feel the mortar heating up under your palm. This increase in temperature is the most important sign that the product has activated and started turning into stone. The water will be cut off in seconds.

4. Closing and Smoothing the Surface:

After the water flow has completely stopped, take a little more SHOCK material in your palm, gently press and rub it around the plugged area, and plaster the surface.

5. Final Touch:

3-5 minutes after the process is finished, when the mortar has completely turned to stone, you can smooth the surface with the help of a wire brush to bring it to the same smoothness as the surrounding wall.
