Usage Areas and Application

* Used in foundations, shear walls, and retaining walls, in wet areas, and on structural elements exposed to seepage or constant water pressure.

* Can be preferred for bonding thermal insulation boards.

* Should be applied in at least 2 coats using a brush, trowel, or spray.

* The second coat should be applied perpendicular (90°) to the first coat once it is completely dry.

* Excavation should not be backfilled before complete curing; filling should only be done after protection is provided with suitable drainage and thermal insulation boards.

Application

* Chamfering (Filleting): Internal corners and joints should be rounded with chamfer tape or suitable repair mortar before application to prevent stresses that may occur at sharp corners.

* Surface Preparation: The concrete to be treated must have reached its full strength (at least 28 days old), and the surface must be completely free of loose particles, oil, and rust.

* Application Temperature: Application should be carried out between +5°C and +35°C; during extreme heat, avoid hours with direct sunlight.

* Tool Cleaning: Tools can be cleaned with water before the material dries; after drying, they can only be cleaned with suitable solvents (thinner, etc.).

Critical Points to Consider

• Weather Conditions: Application should strictly be avoided during rainfall or when there is a probability of rain.

• Protection Period: For the first 24 hours after application, the surface must be carefully protected from frost, direct sunlight, and strong winds.

• Application Side: To ensure maximum efficiency, the material must be applied to the side of the structure in direct contact with water.

• Curing and Intervals: Since curing is slower in cold weather, the second coat should not be applied until the first coat is completely dry.

Technical Data and Packaging Information

• Consumption: Estimated consumption is between 2.00 – 5.00 kg/m², depending on the desired application thickness.

• Storage Conditions: Store in a dry and cool environment, in its original, unopened packaging.

• Shelf Life: 1 year from the date of production when stored under appropriate conditions.

• Packaging: 30 kg set (22 kg bitumen-based liquid component + 8 kg powder component).
